Severe heat warning issued in the Czech Republic

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a new heat warning. According to the weather forecast, on Monday afternoon, July 25, the air in the republic will warm up to 33°C. The department announced this on its official website.

The warning is valid from 11:00 to 20:00 Monday for all regions of the country.

Doctors recommend that residents drink more fluids (unsweetened drinks without caffeine), avoid alcohol and fatty foods, avoid being outdoors for a long time, limit physical activity, and choose clothes made from light natural materials. If prolonged exposure to the sun cannot be avoided, sunscreen, hats and dark glasses should be used.

In turn, the police reminds of the danger of leaving children and pets in cars. In no case should this be done, even if the car is in the shade and the windows are ajar.
