The President of the Czech Republic invited the King of Great Britain to visit the Czech Republic

On Saturday, September 10, Czech President Milos Zeman sent an official invitation to the new King of Great Britain, Charles III, to visit the republic. This was announced by the press secretary of the Czech leader Jiří Ovčáček.

“Your Majesty, let me take this opportunity to wish you strength and success in your new role. Your accession to the throne comes at a very difficult time, when many people feel that their old beliefs are crumbling and fear of an uncertain future is growing. In this context, British monarchs play a historically indispensable role. Their rule and commitment to the monarchy serves as a beacon of stability not only for the people of Great Britain, but for the whole world in difficult times.

Your Majesty, my personal relationship with Great Britain has always been a matter of the heart for me. Excellent relations between our countries have a long historical tradition, including in terms of the pedigree of the royal family. I believe that your rule will further deepen our relations. I know that you have visited the Czech Republic on many occasions and it would be a great honor for us if you would accept our invitation to visit our beautiful country again in your capacity as His Majesty the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Ваше Величество, позвольте в заключение еще раз пожелать Вам крепкого здоровья и успехов в работе и личной жизни», – написал президент Чехии.
